Common Questions
Will the treatment hurt?
We numb the area properly before starting, so you'll feel pressure and vibration but not pain. Tell us if you feel anything and we'll stop and add more numbing.
Are white fillings as strong as silver ones?
Modern tooth-coloured fillings bond firmly to the tooth and are strong enough for everyday chewing — plus they blend in with your smile.
Why do I need a crown after a root canal?
A tooth that has had root canal treatment is more brittle than before. A crown wraps and protects it so you can chew with confidence for years.
Can a badly broken tooth always be saved?
Not always — but we'll do everything we can, and if a tooth truly can't be saved we'll explain your replacement options clearly.
